Mr Biller received a scam phone call from ATO
Mr Biller has recently received a call with someone claiming they are from the ATO the number they are calling from is +61 2610 08394. A few people have gone online to complain about this number. If you call the number back they will answer and say you have called the Australian Taxation Office. This is not legitimate. Please do not attend calls from this number.
If you receive phone calls of this nature please ignore and report them to the ATO by contacting 13 28 61. Don't give out your personal information until you are sure that it is a legitimate phone call Please see below links on more information about scams or if you believe you are are someone who has been scammed.
